Day One: Getting 25 Drywall Companies to $1M in Pipeline
Real partners. Real jobs tracked in the CRM. Today I'm starting a challenge out in the open, and I'm documenting every step so you can watch it happen.
This is day one
Today I'm starting a challenge out in the open: take 25 drywall companies to $1,000,000 in pipeline value.
Not a vanity number. Not projections on a slide. Real partners, with real jobs tracked in the CRM, adding up to a real seven figure pipeline.
I'll be documenting every step, the wins and the misses, so you can watch it happen instead of taking my word for it.
The problem: waiting for the phone to ring
Most drywall owners I talk to are great at the work. Hanging, taping, finishing, hitting deadlines. Where they struggle is knowing where the next job is coming from.
A lot of them still run on two sources. The first is referrals, which are great when they come and impossible to predict. The second is general contractors, which are steady until a GC slows down, changes subs, or squeezes margins.
When either one dries up, the phone goes quiet. Then comes the panic: dropping prices to win bids, taking jobs that don't fit, and worrying about payroll for the crew. That feast or famine cycle is the problem we fix.
The fix: we run the full system
We don't hand you a course or a list of marketing tips. We run the lead system for you, end to end, across three channels inside the Drywall Marketers Growth System.
The first is paid leads, which means targeted ads that put your company in front of homeowners, builders and property managers who need drywall now. The second is organic leads, which means search and local visibility that keeps bringing in work month after month, without paying for every click. The third is website forms, which means a site built to turn visitors into quote requests, with every inquiry captured and routed straight into your pipeline.
The split is simple. You bid and close. We keep the pipeline full. You stay focused on what you're already good at, and we handle the part that keeps you up at night.
Why pipeline value, and why the CRM
Pipeline value is the total dollar value of the real jobs in front of a company: leads that came in, got qualified, and are being bid or worked. It's the clearest early signal of whether a business has enough work coming.
Every job counted toward the $1M goal is logged in the CRM. That keeps us honest. If it isn't a real opportunity with a real customer, it doesn't count.
It also gives each partner something most drywall companies never have: a clear view of what's coming in, where it came from, and which channels are actually paying off.
Documenting the whole journey
This post is Volume 2.1 of the Outside Content Series, and it's the first entry in a running log. Over the coming months I'll share how pipeline value grows across the 25 partners, which lead channels perform best for drywall and which don't, what we change when something isn't working, and lessons from owners who've broken out of the referral and GC cycle.
No polished highlight reel. Just the work, as it happens.

Pipeline value is the total dollar value of the real jobs in front of a company: leads that came in, got qualified, and are being bid or worked. It's the clearest early signal of whether a drywall business has enough work coming.
What counts toward the $1M pipeline goal?
Only real opportunities with real customers. Every job counted toward the $1M goal is logged in the CRM. If it isn't a real opportunity, it doesn't count.
Where do the leads come from?
Three channels run together: paid leads from targeted ads, organic leads from search and local visibility, and website forms that turn visitors into quote requests routed straight into your pipeline.
Do I still bid and close the jobs?
Yes. You bid and close. We keep the pipeline full. You stay focused on what you're already good at, and we handle the lead system end to end.
